The Journal of Dependence Modelling in Finance, Insurance and Demography is an independent international scholarly journal dedicated to theoretical, methodological, and applied research on dependence modelling and its applications in finance, insurance, actuarial science, risk management, economics, and demography.
Mission
The mission of the journal is to provide a transparent, open-access and academically rigorous outlet for research on dependence modelling and its applications to risk, insurance, survival, longevity and demographic analytics.
Journal Status
The journal is currently in its inaugural publication phase. Its first volume is being prepared for publication in 2026. An application for the assignment of an electronic ISSN has been submitted to the Greek ISSN National Centre; current status: ISSN request pending.
Publisher and Ownership
The Journal of Dependence Modelling in Finance, Insurance and Demography is independently owned and published in Greece. Editorial decisions are made independently and are based exclusively on scholarly quality, originality, relevance, methodological rigor, and compliance with the journal's ethical standards.
Open Access Model
The journal operates on a Diamond Open Access model. Readers are not required to register or pay subscription fees, and authors are not charged submission fees or article processing charges. Authors retain copyright and articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License unless another licence is clearly specified.
Quality and Selectivity
Free publication does not mean automatic publication. All manuscripts are evaluated for scope, originality, clarity, ethical compliance, methodological quality and suitability for the journal.
